elijah.io is the personal website of Elijah Kleinsmith. By using it you agree to these terms, which are deliberately short.

Using the site

The site is provided as-is, for reading and for getting in touch. I try to keep it accurate and available, but I make no warranty that it will be either, and I'm not liable for anything that follows from relying on it.

Say Hello

Say Hello is a private text thread between you and me. Use it to say something a person would say; don't use it to send spam, abuse, anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to share. Sending is rate-limited, and I may delete threads or block senders that misuse it. I reply when I can — it is not a support channel and no response time is promised.

Text messaging

Messages you send through Say Hello are forwarded to my own mobile phone as SMS; that is the only number the site texts, and visitors are never sent text messages. For the recipient of those notifications (me): message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and replying STOP cancels the notifications (HELP for help). How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

The writing, photos, video, and design on this site are mine unless credited otherwise. Quote and link freely with attribution; don't republish whole pieces without asking. Anything you send me through Say Hello stays yours — you're giving me permission to read it and reply.

These terms may change; the date at the top will move when they do.
